Shane Dangers IDK if this is more earlier stuff or not, but either way it's really original, and the finished product, while sounding like a demo, is actually quite fucking cool! 😜.. I love the reverb vocals and they seemed tweaked to varying degrees between tracks. This is homemade synthpunk, every bit as sloppy as it is beautiful.

I got HEAVY HEAVY Sonic Youth and Psychic TV vibes off of "Used" and "Ask" ..... I didn't care for "Down" at all, "Cigarette" closes this EP on a more mellow note. 😎😜 Favorite track: Tell Me.

This mini-album is a passive collaboration with Frankie Cosmos. Recently she released instructions to make an album on her site, giving skeleton frameworks to songs (i.e. chords, progressions, or even just lyrics) sort of a Mad-Libs, fill in the blank album. I recorded the six songs as an exercise in songwriting/creativity and here they are!

The instructions vary in form— some might be easier for people who play an instrument, some can hopefully be done by anyone who sets their mind to it.For me, this project is an exercise in giving up control. Once I put it out there, what happens with it is entirely up to you. There are no ultimate versions of these songs, only infinite versions.
